2007 was the year Matt began his carpentry journey, starting his apprenticeship with a renowned Adelaide maintenance company. During his first year he serviced Housing SA, gaining invaluable experience and skills. He then transitioned to the private client side of the business, where he honed his expertise in doors and windows.

2013 Matt joined a building company, focusing on second fix carpentry for housing, supervising projects, and performing general maintenance. These experiences broadened his skill set and deepened his understanding of the industry.

2015 Matt and Alexis founded Adelaide Sure Fix Maintenance to meet the demand for specialised maintenance and custom repair services in Adelaide. Today, Matt leads a dedicated team of 15 employees with a strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction.

Matt is deeply committed to developing the next generation of carpenters. At Sure Fix, he ensures apprentices acquire the skills and experience needed to handle homes of all ages, blending traditional methods with modern techniques. This approach equips the team to tackle restorations, repairs and maintenance across various home eras. Under Matt’s leadership, the team thrives, united by a shared dedication to excellence and innovation in the industry.
